Flavour and Fragrance
What's the difference between Flavour and Fragrance creation
My teacher used to explain to me the difference and the appreciation of this 2 different field.
For Flavour in its creation we are equipped as a nature scientist, we always try to replicate nature, the flavour, the sensation, the taste. Of course if the flavour is too imaginative/imaginary the taste or the feeling itself is unacceptable by our taste buds. So at best we will try to replicate nature as its base taste and then induced our own taste to it and a sparkle of imagination to create the perfect flavour.
So please ask yourself, lately have you ever had any food thats so good that if its put in another media you would still crave for that taste?
We the "nature scientist" are finding what trully triggers your taste buds, and by that can create the perfect flavour just for you.
Whereas for Fragrance, its like art, we don't need to replicate nature. The nature is your canvas all you need is in the air. Even if you don't realize it what surrounds you is all fragrant. "have you ever tried to stop the day and just smell the fragrant that surrounds you" what does it smells like, what does it reminds you of. Is it a smell that's recognizable. When you get to your home, to your office do you remember the sensation, do you remember the ups and downs the crying and cheering. The same sensation as if you are looking at Monalisa painting in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. When you look at it do you also smell the fragrant surrounding the area.
How does it feel like?
Do you stop for a second?
Well, as you can read my explanation for fragrance is also absurd and sounds "artsy"; so is the interpretation of fragrance.
Have you even wonder why you like a specific fragrance?
At the end humans are triggered by its 5 senses; see, taste, smell, touch and hear
When we manage to trigger just 2 of it, people will buy anything that you sell, trust me on this...
